l FUEL TRANSPORTATION I This memorandum is to inform you that all Commissioners believe th'at the June 15-17,1999 l
public meetings by the staff in Nevada, on Yucca Mountain related activities that included i transportation issues, have adequately addressed your request for a public meeting on the topic l at this time. In addition, all Commissioners agree to maintain the present schedule for license renewal activities. There will also be ample opportunity for Nevada and other stakeholders to address transportation issues in DOE's development of an Environmental Impact Statement and NRC's licensing process on Yucca Mountain.
l This completes action on COMNJD-99-002.
