SUBJECT:
PERFORMANCE INDICATOR DATA SUBMITTAL FOR THE REVISED REACTOR OVERSIGHT PROCESS PILOT PROGRAM - JULY 1999 REPORT l
The July 1999 performance indicator (PI) data report for the Revised Reactor Oversight Process Pilot Program is attached. This report constitutes the third monthly Pi data submittal from pilot plant licensees, which includes data through June 1999, for the 13 units at the 9 pilot sites. The first monthly PI data submittal (May 1999 report) was sent to the Public Document Room (PDR) via memorandum dated June 14,1999, and the second submittal (June 1999 report) was sent to the PDR on June 28,1999. For each of the 13 pilot units, the data will be presented in tabular form for each indicator, with a trend chart of the data. Each monthly report willinclude data through the previous month, and will be presented quarterly. For example, the June 1999 report includes data through May 1999 (i.e., two-thirds cf the second quarter 1999),
while the July 1999 report will include data through June 1999 (i.e., the complete second quarter 1999).
Hard copies of monthly reports will be placed in the PDR, and current plans are to post the pilot plant Pi data on the NRC External Web Page starting in August 1999. Upon completion of the pilot program and t l implementation of the Revised Reactor Oversight Process, Pi data will be reported from all reactor licensees on a quarterly basis, and will be made publicly available through both the PDR and the NRC External Web Page.
