Modification No. 2 to Task Order No. 4 Under NRC-02-96-004 i

This confirms verbal authorization provided to Pat Mackin on June 2,1997, to l

participate in the NMA/NRC workshop on uranium recovery issues on June 3-5, 1997, with a temporary ceiling of $5,671,51.

The purpose of this modification is to:

(1) extend the period of performance through November 15, 1997, and (2) increase the task order ceiling and obligated amounts by $10,719 from $50,899 to $61,618, This effort shall be performed in accordance with the attached statement of work and in accordance with the contractor's technical proposal dated May 30, 1997, 1

Further, the task order is revised to have the contractor submit two separate j

reports for the Title I and 11 sites.

This effort shall be performed at no additional cost or obligation to the Government.

' Accordingly, the task order is hereby modified as follows:

The second paragraph, first sentence, of the definitization letter is deleted in its entirety and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:

" Task Order No. 4 shall be in effect from November 4. 1996 through November 15, 1997, with a cost ceiling of $61,618." - The amount of

$55.653 represents the estimated reimbursable costs, the amount of

$1.502 represents the facilities capital cost of money,-and the amount of $4,453 represents the fixed fee.

The amount currently obligated is $61,618."

All other terms and conditions of the subject task order remain unchanged.

STATEMENT OF WORK i

Stone of Work The contractor shall participate in the joint NMA/NRC Workshop on Uranian l

Recovery issues in Denver, Colorado, on June 3-5. 1997.

The CNWRA will make a presentation on the ongoing SRP development work, and also consider to the

l extent possible the cairnents by the workshop participants in finalizing the SRP under development.

In addition the contract will publish in the Federal Register the availability of the final draft of the SRP for coninents by the general Jublic.

The CNWRA shall consider all public coninents and ap3ropriately factor t1em, unth staff, consensus, in revising and finalizing t1e SRP.

-Period of Performance The task order shall be in effect fran November 4,1996 and will expire on November 15, 1997.
