Operations." The revision,:which contained numerous changes in the requirements, also modified the quality assurance (0A) requirements for transportation. As a result of these changes, a separate NRC OA program approval is 'no longer needed.
Specifically, transportation activities are now contained-in a new paragraph.
This provision was added to the regulations and requires that ins devices,pection and maintenance3rograms limited to radiographic exposure source changers or paccages transporting these devices and meeting the provisions of 10 CFR Part 34.31(b), or equivalent Agreement State i
regulations. satisfy the general license requirements specified in 10 CFR Part 71,12(b) for Type B transport packages,
