Fitness For Duty Perforrnance Data Summary ofAfanagement Actions 3

Six Month Period Ending June 30,1997 We conducted 1,333 tests on contractor personnel during this period. The increase in the 7

number of tests conducted was due to the outage testing at the beginning of the year.

q Thirty-one of these tests were positive. Twenty nine were Preaccess tests, one was a For 5

Cause and one was a Random test. Two contractors were positive for two substances

}

(marijuana and cocaine) and one contractor was positive for three subs;ances (Marijuana, cocaine, and alcohol).

Licensee employees had two Random positives, one for cocaine and one for marijuana.

One licensee employee was tested For Cause and found to be negative. Two contractor

.\\

personnel were tested For Cause. One was positive and the other one was negative.

This past year the company decided to test at the 50 nanodram level for marijuana. We found that out of twenty marijuana positives, twelve were positive at the 50 nanogram

'evel and eight were positive at the 100 nanogram level. Our licensed employee who was positive for marijuana was at the 50 nanogram level.

Integrity checks revealed that there were twenty-one specimens having creatinine levels of less than 200 nanograms per liter. Eighteen tests were repeated. One of the repeated tests was positive for cocaine and one o these was still low and had to be tested as an observed r

specimen.

We have instituted a new computer generated report for tracking testing results. This allows the computer to report our results from the d tn the.t is put in the computer on a daily (aabasts7. The total for the confirmed positive tests results reflects the number of subs

.e busejh nprthe number of people tested.
