l This refers to the working-level meeting conducted in the NRC Region IV office on May 4,1998, with Mr. Paul Caudill and other members of your staff and Mr. Elmo Collins and other members of NRC Region IV and NRR staffs. During that meeting we discussed Cooper's engineering improvement strategy and your plans to achieve performance improvements. We note that you did not use or provide any presentation documents. We found the meeting useful in increasing our understanding of your improvement strategy. A management meeting is scheduled for May 18, at the Cooper Nuclear Station, to further discuss the strategy.
