Phone Call With PPL OI on Recent Events on July 15, 1996, the Region requested a phone call between OI and PPL internal auditing (similar to OI in function) to discuss findings on two events. The number of events was expanded to three subsequent to the original request. Each of the events potentially involved wrongful acts and were investigated by multiple PPL teams.

The events were as follows:

July 5, 1996 E emergency diesel misalignment July 13, 1996 13.8 KV maintenance event that resulted in a scram July 17 - 18, 1996 Truck Tire Vandalism The licensee's conclusions are listed under each event.
