Tha purpose of this modification is to (1) adjust the estimated cost and fixed fee'of the contract as a result of an estimated cost and fee 20ttlement reached pursuant the termination notice dated November 7, 1997 iccued to the contractor and (2) to allot $100,000 in incremental funding to this contract.

As a result of this obligation and item #1 above, Section B.3 entitled " Consideration and Obligation - Cost Plus Fixed Fee (JUN 1988) Alternate I (JUN 1991)" is hareby replaced by the following Section B.3:
B.3 CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION--COST PLUS FIXED FEE (JUN 1988)
ALT I (JUN 1991)
(a) The total estimated cost to the Government for full performance of this contract is $1,230,529 of which the sum of $1,178,198 represents the cetimated reimbursable costs, and,of which $52,331 represents the fixed fee.
1 (b) There shall be no adjustment in the amount of the Contractor's fixed foa by reason of differences between any estimate of cost for performance of thm work under this contract and the actual cost for performance of that work.
(c) The amount presently obligated by the Government with respect to this contract is $1,225,000 of which the sun, of $1,172,904 represents the l
roimbursable costs and Sof which the sum of $52,096 represents the fixed foo.
(d) It is estimated that the amount currently allotted will cover performance through April 15, 1998.
(End of Clause) 3.
As a result of the termination notice issued November 7, 1997 pursuant to FAR 52.249-6 entitled " Termination - Cost Reimbursement," Section F.6 entitled " Duration of Contract Alternate 4" is hereby replaced with the following Section F.6:
