In Column 2 of the above Table, there is a count of all currently j

pending cases.

Column 3 counts only a subset of the pending-those new applications, amendments, terminations greater than 90 days pending, and those renewals and sealed source and device reviews greater than 180 days pending.

(NOTE: this gives a much greater tally than the backlog count in Table 2 because no allowance is made for 20% of the cases to exceed the timeliness goals.

Columns 4-5-6 assign the older cases' either to Headquarters, the applicable region, or the licensee, 1

depending on the current milestone.
