Dear Sirs:

Pursuant to Freedom of Information Act, we make the following request:

Any and all records, reports, notes, communications, letter relating to the computerized turnstil access gate at Salem I and II of Public Service Electric and Gas Company located in Lower Alloways Creek, New Jersey. for the following period: June 1, 1983 through December 31, 1984.

Specifically, we are seeking under F0IA any and al1 information regarding improve-ments to correction of finding of inadequacy inoperation, failure to properly re-cord or application to shut down' times inoperation or downage for the computer turnstile gates at Salem I and II Nuclear Engery Plant, Lower Alloways Creek, New Jersey.

We understand that under CFR 72.83 and CFR 73 et seq., such records are kept by the operator of the plant. We further understand that communications regarding down time and inoperation must be reported to the NRC.

This matter is urgent and would appreciate your prompt response.

We, of course, will remit the necessary reimbursement as you shall advise.
