Dear Mr. Erickson:

I am excited to announce that I will be teaching a-course in our-Enginneering Department on Deconnaissioning of Nuclear Power Plants, and Long Term Waste Storage.

Since our community is now dealing with the fate of our Humboldt Bay Power Plant, we feel that a course such as this will serve to educate our students, local residents, and the public-at-large on this complex issue.

I would like to obtain several copies of the " Draft Environmental Statement for Deconsnissioning Humboldt Bay Power Plant No.

3", so that I can place them on reserve in our library for use by students in this class.

I would appreciate any additional information, contacts, suggestions, resources, etc. that you might provide.

I am

.particularly interested in getting someone from the NRC to come and give-a presentation to this class.

Please let me know how I might arrange this.

Thank you for your help.
