Byron Station Unit 2 Seismic Qualification NRC Docket No. 50-455
Dear Mr. Denton:
This is to inform you of the completion of seismic qualification of Westinghouse '7300 Process Protection System circuit cards for Byron Unit 2.
-Modificationn have been made to the NTC circuit cards used in NSSS and BOP applications and the NTD circuit cards used in BOP applications.
Calibration adjustments have been made to resolve anamolies observed during seismic testing of the NPC, NCH and-NSC cards used in NSSS application 3.
The NCH card used in BOP applications did not require any adjustments and is seismically qualified. Installation of seismically qualified Westinghou.~e
~1300 Process Protection System circuit cards in Byron Unit 2 is complete.
