Sinkule of the USNRC Region II of a potentially reportable condition concerning the CVI containment cooling unit manifold nozzles.
The CVI stress analysis did not include an evaluation of the effects of post-LOCA thermal conditions on the cooler / manifold interface.
There are eight cooling units in each unit of the plant.
Georgia Power Company is currently evaluating this condition for potential impacts and expects to inform the NRC of the evaluation results by November 24, 1986.
