The EG&G final report on their activated carbon testing program is enclosed in i accordance with our' commitment at the ASTM D-28 Committee Meeting last month.
It is encouraging that two American testing companies have demonstrated the ability to obtain acceptably accurate results. With some improvements in j equipment it seems that the others will be able to do so. You are encouraged ;
to proceed with all deliberate speed to revise the standard so a NAVLAP '
program can be implemented.
