Steam Generator Tube Surveillance Gentlemen:
Maine Yankee's Technical Specification 4.10.E.1 requires that, following each inservice inspection of steam generator tubes, the number of tubes plugged in each steam generator shall be reported to the Commission within 15 days.
On April 20, 1987, Maine Yankee completed inservice inspection of the steam generators. As a result of this inspection, we have plugged two tubes in steam generator E-1-2.
The plugging of the steam generator tubes was completed between May 1-2, 1987.
Additional information related to the inspection of the steam generators will be included in our Inservice Inspection Summary report which is scheduled to be submitted in August, 1987.
