Georgia Power Company's (GPC) Plant Vogtle has two radioactive materials shipping casks that, in accordance with 10 CFR 71.12 (c)(3),
require registration with the NRC prior to first use of the casks.
By this letter, GPC is registering its casks for Plant Vogtle.
Both of the Vogtle casks were manufactured by Nuclear Packaging, Inc.
The model numbers and NRC docket numbers for each of the casks are noted below.
