NRC Docket 50-322-OL Gentlemen:
LILCO has reviewed the Commission's June 11 decision, CLI-87-04, declining to undertake the expedited review sought by LILCO to operate the Shoreham plant immediately at 25% of rated power.
The Commission's decision intimated no view as to the merits of LILCO's request.
The need for.the capacity represented by Shoreham continues to exist.
The purpose of this letter is to notify the Commission that LILCO intends to revise its April 14 request in the manner _ contemplated by CLI-87-04 and resubmit it at the earliest possible date.
