.n 'With respect to the State's testimony, the State proposes that such testimony be filed on July 22. This date will allow ) ~ sufficient time for the State's witnesses to review the results of the deposition, complete their analysis of KLD TR-201A, and l prepare their wr$tten testimony.2/ In addition, it will permit LILCO to cross-oxamine the State's witnesses without delaying the hearing. In scheduling discussions and correspondence between LILCO and the Governments, it has been tentatively agreed that the State's witnesses will be made available for cross-examination on July 23-24 and 28. Thus LILCO will have suffi-cient time to review the testimony and cross-examine the State's witnesses on it without delaying the schedule which has been. tentatively agreed upon. The Governments respectfully submit that their proposed schedule is fair and will not result in undue delay to this proceeding. Accordingly, the Governments' proposed schedule should be accepted and adopted by this Board. (footnote continued from previous page) further deposition once all documents have been obtained and analyzed by the Governments. 2/ This proposed date also takes into account: (1) that l Mr. Mil)spaugh has a professional commitment in July that will take some of his time; (2) that the testimony must be prepared while counsel is involved in the hearing; and (3) the 4th of July holiday. 1. ..9
