NRC STAFF RESPONSE TO CASE'S MOTION FOR DISCOVERY OF THE STAFF (CPRT)
I. INTRODUCTION On September 22, 1986, CASE filed its " Motion for Discovery of the Staff (CPRT)" (" Motion").
Attached to CASE's Motion were a number of subpoenns and notices of deposition for certain named and unnamed NRC Staff personnel and consultants, and CASE's
" Interrogatories and Requests for Document Production on the Adequacy of the Comanche Peak Response Team." The Staff hereby opposes in part CASE's Motion.
TT. DISCUSSION Discovery against the Staff stands on a "different footing" than discovery with respect to other parties.
