CLARIFICATION OF SURVEILLANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTAINMENT PENETRATION TEST AND VENT VALVES -
TROJAN (TAC. 61360)
By memorandum dated April 22, 1986, Region V requested that NRR review the requirements of Trojan Technical Specification (TS) 4.6.1.1.a.1 with regard to the applicability to containment penetration test and vent valves.
We have completed our review and conclude that TS Section 4.6.1.1.a.1 is directly applicable to the containment penetration test and vent valves. The staff position provided by NRR's Plant Systems Branch is enclosed (Memorandum dated June 5, 1987 - J. Craig to G. Knighton).
