By letter GN-1282 dated January 2,
1987, Georgia Power. Company consnitted to perform preliminary environmental surveys (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) of the Vogtle Unit 1 Control Room prior to exceeding 5% power.
Enclosed herein are the results of the preliminary environmental surveys.
There were not any Human Engineering Discrepancies (HEDs) identified from the subject surveys.
The information provided by this letter and its enclosure are in response to a commitment made relative to Vogtle Safety Evaluation Report (SER) Open Item 14a (Control Room Design Review) and should be forwarded to the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation for the appropriate review (s).
