Dear Mr. Denton:
Georgia Power Company has developed a respiratory protection program to support operation of the Vogtle Electric Generation Plant (VEGP).
This program has been developed to comply with the NRC's regulation in 10 CFR and VEGP's commitments in the FSAR.
The applicable NRC regulations [10 CFR 20.103(g)] requires Georgia Power to provide written notification 30 days prior to the use of respiratory equipment for protection of personnel from radioactive materials.
This letter provides notification that, as necessary the respiratory protection program will be implemented to support fuel load and commerical operation for VEGP.
