50-328 SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN) - REVISIONS TO COMMITMENTS CONTAINED IN CORRESPONDENCE RELATED TO THE DESIGN BASELINE AND VERIFICATION PROGRAM (DBVP) f Particular correspondence from TVA to NRC related to the DBVP contains some commitments which should be revised.
These activities are part of the prerestart effort for SQN unit 2 and require additional time to complete because of the need for multidiscipline coordination to occur or for resources to become available.

Revise the SQN Rigorous Analysis Handbook by June 27, 1987, to provide guidance to analysts regarditic evaluation of slip joints.

Notify piping analysts by May 1, 1987, to be quality conscious 3
in prepering isometric drawings.

Conduct section training and revise the SQN Rigorous Analysis f
Handbook checklist by June 27, 1987, to address coordination of pipe rupture evaluations.

Revise AI-19, Part IV, by June 15, 1987, to direct instrument engineers to reference any source documents used to develop accuracies, setpoints, etc., used in workplans.
9.
A test on the CCS surge tank is scheduled to be completed by June 15, 1987, to determine the extent of any leakage through the baffle plate.
11.
Issue a report by May 5, 1987, that documents the results of the l
rereview of the electrical SQEP-12 checklists for consideration l
of imposed voltages.

The DBVP Phase II scope and schedule will be finalized and submitted to NRC by June 12, 1987.
