gentlemen, this is an affirmation session.
I believe we have 4
one item today for affirmation.
5 Will you lead us through that please, Secretary?
6 MR. CHILK:
The item is SECY 86-280, proposed orders 7
establishing informal hearings with respect to denials of 8
materials license applications of Perf-Master, Inc. and 9
Radiology Ultrasound Nuclear Consultants.
10 In this paper the Commission is being asked to 11 respond to requests for hearings from materials license 12 applicants Perf-Master, Inc., and Radiology Ultrasound Nuclear 13 Consultants, following the Staff's denial of their licensing 14 requests.
i 15 All Commissioners have approved orders granting an 16 informal hearing to both licensees.
Each hearing will be 17
. presided over by a single member of the Atomic Safety and 18 Licensing Board panel appointed by the Chairman, and the i
l 19 proceedings shall be guided by the instructions in the orders.
