Response to NRC Request Concerning Regulatory Requirements Status

Dear Sir:

By letter dated April 30, 1986 [ Reference (b)], you requested information concerning the status of 138 generic regulatory requirements applicable to the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station. In accordance with your request, Vermont Yankee submitted by letter dated May 30, 1986 [ Reference (c)], a plant-specific list addressing 120 of the NRC multiplant action items providing the date that all aspects of each requirement were completed / implemented or expected to be completed. Enclosure 1 to this letter provides the status for the remaining 18 items where we required additional information or clarification relative to the specific requirement for which status was requested. Please be advised that pursuant to our discussion of September 15, 1986, MPA Items A-12, B-20, B-21, B-27, B-42, B-70, D-11, and D-15 have been identified as completed or not applicable (N/A) based upon the information contained in NRC memorandum " Clarification of MPA's for SIMS,"
