FUNCTIONAL TEST PROCEDURE 1.10 Scope The requirements and procedures for the functional' testing.of the

((f Reliance Electric IS0 MATE Isolation Boards (CCL Sample No.

1724-018-000) are presented in the following subsections'. Each board shall be tested individually. .

1.10.1 Test Requirements The isolation boards shall be tested in accordance with the procedure specified below; The board shall comply with the following operational requirements:

1) Input power -(non IE) voltage of 5 Volts i 1%.
2) Each output operates' with an input (IE) of 25.2 VDC - 0.1 VDC, 28 VDC 0.1"VDC and 30.8 VDC + 0.1VDC.
3) Each output accepts a load of 0.1 Amps + 0.01 at 140 Volts DC + 2 VDC.
4) Maintains 1500 VOC isolation for one minute between all inputs tied together, and all outputs and power voltage inputs tied together, for one minute. (Relative Humidity must be less than 60% RH during this test).
5) 500'Yolt megger test value greater than 50 MQ.

1.10.2 Test Procedure Connect the isolation board tester per Figure 1.10.1 with the selector switch in the off position and the power supplies turned off. Figure 1.10.2 is the Functional Test Fixture wiring diagram. Insert the isolation board in the tester in the direction marked on the tester (components side TF-067 P F-s 795 (98 0 0) S /8 5

DESCRIPTION OF ANOMALY: Test sample has an..!R of 4-5 MQ.

4 DISPOSITION: The low IR occurred on the non IE side of the isolator board.

The client was contacted and determined that low IR on the non IE side was an acceptable occurrence.

COMMENTS: The low IR is an indication of an electrical path between power (5 VDC) terminals and the relay contacts circuit. Observation of the board indicates the probability of this path resulting from soot / debris blown from board number 009 during the 70 amp overcurrent test.
