Response to Notice of Violation dated September 23, 1986

-This will acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated November 11, 1986 in

response to the management meeting at your office on October 3, 1986.

Your request for an extension of six months on the Order revoking License

50-19401-01 has been sent to our headquarters for resolution.

Your letter dated November 11, 1986 did not address the violations which were

discussed with you on October 3, 1986 during the management meeting.

It is

requested that you respond in writing to the Notice of Violation dated

September 23, 1986 within the next twenty (20) days as to those actions which

have been taken by you to correct the violations.

It is our understanding that you intend to divest yourself of all gauges and

terminate your license in the near future.

However, as long as you have

licensed materials in your possession, you are subject to inspections and any

,

associated enforcement actions as stipulated in 10 CFR 2, Appendix C.

If you have any further questions on this matter, we will be glad to discuss

them with you.
