Byron Station Unit 2 Revision to Expected Fuel Load Date NRC Docket No. 50-455 Reference (a): November 18, 1985 letter from Cordell Reed to H. R. Denton
Dear Mr. Denton:
Reference (a) provided Commonwealth Edison's best estimate of the fuel load schedule for Byron Unit 2.
It stated that the unit would be ready to load fuel no later than October 15, 1986. We have completed a detailed review of the activities remaining to support fuel load which indicates that an additional two weeks will be required to complete final construction activities. Thus, we estimate that Byron Unit 2 will be ready to load fuel on or about October 31, 1986.
Should any contingencies arise to cause fuel load to occur later than this date, I will keep you advised.
