SAP /JDF All Agreement States Interpretative Letter No. 76-02 We have recently been questioned concerning State-

licensed radiographers who perform work on board U. S. Navy ships while in port for maintenance.

It has been determined that persons working with agreement materials on board U. S. Navy ships are subject to NRC jurisdiction.

The subject radio-graphers will need a specific NRC license if they do not qualify for reciprocity pursuant to 10CFR150.20.
