Dear Mr. Keppler:
Reference (a) requested certain actions of licensees with Static-O-Ring Differential pressure Switches Model 102 or 103 which were installed as electrical equipment important to safety as defined in 10 CFR 50.49.
In our July 25, 1986 response to the bulletin (Reference (b)), it was indicated that a separate response would be supplied for Braidwood Station prior to its commencing operation pursuant to the provisions outlined in the bulletin.
Braidwood Station has completed their review of the bulletin and determined that none of the SOR differential pressure switches in question (Models 102 or 103) have been installed at the plant. Therefore, the bulletin is inapplicable and no further action is required.
To the best of my knowledge and belief the statements contained herein and in the attachment are true and correct.
In some respects these statements are not based on my personal knowledge but upon information furnished by other Commonwealth Edison employees or consialtants. Such information has been reviewed in accordance with Company practice and I believe it to be reliable.
