1 '. ADMINISTRATIVE CONTROLS AtlDITS 6.5.2.7 Audits of facility activities shall be perfomed under the cognizance of the NR8. These audits shall encompass:

a. The confomance of facility operation to prov.isions contained within the Technical Specifications and applicable license conditions at least once per 12 months. -

b. The performance, training and qualifications of the facility staff at least once per 12 months.

c. The results of actions taken to correct deficiencies occurring in facility equipment, structures, systems or method of operation i that affect nuclear safety at least once per six months.

i' d. The performance of activities mquired by the Quality Assurance Program to meet the criteria of Appendix "8".10 CFR Par.t 50, at least once per 24 months.

e. The Facility Emergency Plan and implementing proceduras at

, least once per 24 months.

f. The Facility Security Plan and implementing procedures at least once per 24 months.

! 9 Any other area of facility operation considered appropriate i by the NR8 or the Senior Vice President - Nuclear Engineering and Operations.

l h. The Facility Fire Protection Program and implementing j procedures at least once per 24 months.

i. The fire protection equipment and program implementation at least once per 12 months utilizing either a qualified offsite licensee fire protection engineer or an outside independent fire protection consultant. An outside independent fire

protection consultant shall be used at least every third year.
