OF MEETIllG HELD TO REVIEW CABLE DOCUMENTATI0ll Cn December 3,1986, the staff met with the applicant to review cable dccu-trentation to ensure that no chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) is included in cable at Vogtle.
Participants are listed in the enclosure.
The applicant showed the staff three cable purchase specifications used at Vogtle: X3AJ01, X3AJ02, ard X3AJ04.
For the first two, the specification required a hypalon jacket. However, for X3AJ04 the acolicant gave the vendors (Rockbestos and Eaton) the option to provide jacketing of hypalon or CPE. The applicant then showed the staff the material data sheets which indicate what was received from the vendors fnr purchases under specification X3AJ04.
In each case, cable jacketing was of hypalon.
The staff requested the applicant to submit the three specifications ard the r:aterial data sheets for each. The applicant indicated that this inforrcation would be submitted by Decerrher 10, 1986.
The staff and applicant also briefly discussed the mechanical equipment qualification SCEW sheets.
The applicant indicated that updated SCEW sheets would be submitted by December 8, 1986.
