Dear Ms. Fort:
This.is to acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated November 17, 1986, responding to our technical coments and recommendations following our review of the New Mexico Radiation Control Program on September 25, 1986.
We appreciate being kept informed on the progress of the New Mexico Radiation Protection Regulations. We are pleased that the review of the draft regulations has been completed by the New Mexico Radiation Technical Advisory Committee. Upon receipt of the final proculgated regulation, we would expect to offer a finding of compatibility for the program.
In regard to your other responses we continue to encourage management to monitor the agreement materials staffing level and we recognize the state's efforts.
We appreciate the courtesy and cooperation extended to Mr. Heyer during the program review.
I am also enclosing a copy of this letter for placement in the State Public Document Room or to otherwise be made available for public review.
