7 MONTHLY NARRATIVE REPORT OF OPERATING AND MAJOR MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE This report describes the operating and major maintenance experience for the month of July, 1986. This report was prepared by the Plant Staff and is submitted in accordance with Section IX:I.1.c. of the Technical Specifications.

During the report period, the reactor has been in the cold shutdown mode with the core unloaded and the reactor vessel drained. During the month the following activities were ongoing:

1. Continued examination and preparation for repair of No. 1 and 2 concentrated waste storage tanks.
2. Concluded processing concentrated waste and No. 3 waste receiver tank bottoms.
3. Continued decontamination of Plant areas.
