OPERATING LICENSE NPF-68 ADDENDA T0 PREOPERATIONAL INTEGRATED LEAK RATE TEST FINAL-REPORT Gentlemen:

By letter GN-1225 dated December 12, 1986, Georgia Power Company submitted the final report of the Vogtle Unit 1 preoperational integrated leak rate test to' the Director of Nuclear- Reactor Regulation as required by 10 CFR 50, Appendix J, V.B.1. Subsequent to the transmittal of the subject report, some additions and updates were generated and are enclosed. Instructions for inserting the replacement pages are included in the enclosure. Five copies of this letter : and its enclosure are hereby provided and should be forwarded to the ~ Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation for review. A copy. of this submittal has been provided to NRC Region II.

The addenda to the report resulted.from the following:

1. Encapsulation vessel leakage in the tota? leakage for Type B and C penetrations was not originally provided in the ~ report and has been added; and,

2. Rework of several containment isolation val'ves- necessitated updating certain of. the measured leakage values originally provided in the subject report.

Please note that the final acceptability of the preoperational integrate'd' leak rate test (Test' # 1-300-04) for Vogtle Unit 1 is not affected by these changes.
