3 LER 86-05 The plant tripped during the performance of a routine Reactor Protection System Surveillance Test. Cause of trip was determined to be an induced (test) trip signal on #1 pico and a spurious trip signal on #2 pico which satisfied the trip logic for a reactor scram. The
- 2 pico and circuitry was investigated and repaired. Subsequent operability tests were performed successfully. The plant returned to power 7/12/86.
Note: The unit derate previously repo rted (month of March) is no lc nger being imposed. Repairs of the high pre ssure turbine s aaling s team problem appear to have e] iminated the cause for derate.
