Bournia on April 28, 1987, due to the planned permanent shutdown of the La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor.
The generic letter stated that "...the NRC has concluded t. hat the seismic adequacy of certain equipment in operating nuclear power plante chst be j
reviewed...".
The equipment involved was that required to ach2evd and maintain l
hot plant shutdown.
j LACBWR was permanently shutdown on April 30, 1987.
Cold shutdown was also l
reached on April 30.
Since the plant will no longer be operated, this generic letter should not apply.
