Dear Mr. Denton:
Reference (a) directed Commonwealth Edison Company "... to formally confirm that offsite-emergency plans include a list of local or regional medical facilities which have capabilities to provide treatment for radiation exposure, and (2) commit to full compliance with the Commission's response to the GUARD remand."
We have reviewed the Offsite Emergency Plans for' Byron and Braidwood and confirm that they include a list of local or regional hospitals which have the capabilities to provide treatment for patients who are contaminated and injured as well as those who have suffered radiation exposure.
In Item 6 of Reference (b), we completed the second of the above directives.
