Dear Sir:

This letter transmits our response to your request conveyed in the above referenced letter received by Public Service Company. of Colorado on May 12, 1987.

Public Service Company has conducted an investigation and reviewed all applicable information as requested.

The enclosure is a summary of those efforts.

On May 20, 1987, the subject of this allegation was confronted with the specific details contained therein and subsequently offered total cooperation in resolving the issue.

Unescorted access was revoked at

- J this time.

The subject was referred to the Public Service Company of Colorado's Medicel Facility for c urinalysis, for cause, in accordance with the Fitness for Duty procedure currently in place at Fort St. Vrain.

Test results were negative for all drugs.

The subject was then evaluated by a Public Service Company of Colorado Employee Assistance Program Coordinator regarding the alcohol and threat related allegations and found to mentally stable and without evidence of alcohol dependency or j

related problems.

The Employee Assistance Program report indicates the 1

individual is fit for duty.

Based -on the information received from the individual, the urinalysis test reports and the rcyort from the Employee Assistance Program, unescorted access was reinstated on the night of May 22, 1987.
