Dear Mr. Davis:
The purpose of this letter is to amend the information provided to the C.ommission; in Byron Letter 87-0455, dated April 13,1987.regarding the number of tubes removed from service during the Unit One first refueling outage. This information is being reported pursuant to Facility Operating License NPF-37, Appendix A, Technical Specification 3/4.4.5.5.a.

19 28 In addition, the Row 28, Column 64 tube in the D steam generator is plugged from the hot leg (Inlet) side only as a result of a mishcated plug. This condition is acceptable as is based upon an engineering analys'.s perfortned by the eddy current vendor and accepted by Commonwealth Edison engineering.
