Dear Ms. Garde:
This is in response to your July 23, 1986 FOIA appeal for act0a1 denial of portions of the July 11, 1985 and July 11, 1986 lists of allegations which pertain to 85-299.
I have again reviewed these lists and affirm the agency's decision to withhold portions pursuant to F0IA Exemption 7(A) as to all but one investigation referred to as 4-84-047 on the attached document. This investigation is now closed.
Information concerning open investigations will continue to be withheld according to 7(A) in order not to interfere with ongoing investigations. See NLRB v. Robbins Tire & Rubber Co., 437 U.S. 214 (1978).
Judicial review of the denial of portions of these documents is available in federal district court in the district in which you reside or have your principal place of business, or in the District of Columbia.
