7 public sale purchase of land. to each of the ~ three anticipated bidders in the Gas Hills..BLM will conclude the sale only with the' successful bidder.

Following: DOE reclamation of-the Riverton tailings at the Gas Hills site, that land will be turned over to DOE for long-term care.

In addition, NRC and DOELstaff are meeting today at URF0 to discuss DOE's schedule for remedial action implementation for the Riverton tailings, performance-bonding 'to be required by DOE of the contractor.to be selected for relocation of-the tailings, and disposal. site land acquisition involving the BLM.
