l WITHDRAWAL OF MOTION In papers ' filed September 17, 1986, Petitioners San Luis Obispo Mothers for Peace and the Sierra Club requested an emergency stay of defueling of operations at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant (Diablo Canyon). The Commission treated the stay request as a request for an enforcement action under 10 CFR S 2.206, and directed the ' staff to act expeditiously on the matter.

In light of actions which have occurred subsequent to filing the motion for emergency stay, including receipt by petitioners of technical documents filed by PG&E with the NRC and Meeting Summary Notes compiled by the NRC, and an agreement with staff to receive an oral statement of staff's position as soon as it is S
