Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant Unit Nos.1 & 2; Docket Nos. 50-317 & 50-318 IE Bulletin 86-03; Potential Failure of Air-operated Valve in Minimum Flow Recirculation Line This refers to IE Bulletin 86-03 which requested a written report within 30 days. We have asked for and been granted a two week (14 days) extension to the due date for our response. We discussed our need with an NRC technical contact listed in the bulletin.
Additional time is needed to allow an adequate review of specific vendor-supplied information. This information has not yet been received from our NSSS vendor. We expect to have our written response to the bulletin postmarked by November 21,1986.
