_3g With the May 28, 1986 announcement by the Department of Energy that all site-specific work for a second high-level waste (HLW) repository has been postponed indefinitely, our division will no longer be routinely mailing HLW documents to states and Indian tribes associated with the second repository program.
For your information, below are other ways to keep abreast of NRC's activities in the HLW program.

NRC's toll free telephone announcement of upcoming meetings in the HLW program is 1/800/368-5642, Ext. 79002, or 427-9002 for Washington area callers.

HLW documentation processed by this office is routinely sent to NRC's Public Document Room (PDR) in Washington, DC.
