Docket No. 50-322-OL-5 (EP Exercise)

Dear Administrative Judges:

Pursuant to the discussion among the parties during hearings on May 26, LILCO estimates that it will cross-examine FEMA for about a day and a half, perhaps less.

I will conduct that exami-nation.

As Mr. Lanpher indicated in his June 3 letter to you, LILCO's examination will follow the intervenors'.

As to the appearance of NRC Staff witnesses, LILCO does not object to their being heard on June 11 to accommodate the wit-nesses' schedules, consistent with accommodations that have been made for witness conflicts throughout this phase of the proceed-ing.

Finally, I regretfully report that Charles Daverio fell and broke his leg this week.

His accident may affect his ability to l

provide additional testimony at hearings on Contention 40, should that become necessary.

Yours very truly, 8706100094 870604 PDR G
