SIMILARITY EVALUATION F1R EEQ CABLES OUTSIDE CONTAINMENT During a meeting on April 13, 1987 between members of Consumers Power Company and NRC staff which discussed corrective actions we would take to resolve EEQ cable qualification deficiencies, we comunitted to provide a similarity analysis to support the qualification of Butyl-rubber and Polyetheleae insulated cables outside containment. This commitment resulted in the NRC issuing a Confirmatory Action Letter dated April 15, 1987. Attachment 1 contains the similarity analysis for the Butyl-rubber insulated cables and contains the similarity analysis for the Polyethelene insulated cables. Advance copies of the two attachments were distributed to both NRR and Regional Staffs on May 29, 1987.
