Revision No. 14 to the Vermont Yankee Physical Security Plan The purpose of this letter is to provide you with Revision 14 to the Vermont Yankee Physical Security Plan. This revision modifies the criteria for Security Force response to Intrusion Detection System alarms.
In addition, we have revised the Plan to standardize and define the titles used to describe the members of the Security Force and incorporate miscellaneous, minor changes.
This revision addresses a commitment made by us as detailed in Item II.A of Attachment A to Reference (b).
The Plan revision is provided as Attachment A to this letter. We have reviewed the contents of the revision and have determined that the changes do not decrease the SAFEGUARDS effectiveness of the Security Plan. Therefore, in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p), prior NCR approval of this revision is not required.
Both the Security Plan and Attachment A are considered SAFEGUARDS INFORMATION and as such, are to be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with the provision of 10 CFR 73.21.
As required by Vermont Yankee's procedures for the control of SAFEGUAROS INFORMATION and Section 13.8 of our Security Plan, we have enclosed a Document Custody Form and Change Transmittal Form for each copy of the Security Plan revision.
Please ensure that these forms are properly filled out and returned to us promptly.
