Inquiry No. 87.10 This refers to a telephone inquiry by Mr. Steven Courtemanche of this office with yourself on May 1, 1987. This inquiry concerned the transfer of.two Tracor gas chromatographs containing licensed byproduct material from Rohm and i Hass, Co. (NRC License No. 37-01665-01)_to your institution. I From this discussion, it is our understanding that the Tracor gas chromato-graphs shall be secured from use and that a request for a license has been forwarded to this office. Also, that licensed material shall not be used until the license is granted. If our understandings are incorrect, please inform us in writing, i In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the Public Document Room.
