00CdE TINc3 5sy;,rcr' BRANCH AAMODT MOTION FOR RESCHEDULING OF HEARING The Aamodts motion the Board to reschedule the appearance of Met Ed employees as witnesses in the instant hearing to begin, at the earliest, on October 15, 1986. The Aamodes are unable to attend the hearing until that time because of personal problems which have been explained.to the Board.
The Aamodts have interest in the. hearing.
They have particular interest in the development of evidence concerning individual responsibility.
The extension is necessary to allow the Aamodts t protect their interest.
By October 15, 1986, the Aamodts believe that their personal s
problems will be sufficiently resolved to allow them to attend the '
.s hearing.
In the event that they are not able to personally attend, the time provided would be sufficient forfeedhsett:who would represent them, to Eecome : familiar with the record of the proceeding.
.a This request, if granted, would not significantly delay the ultimate conclusion of the proceeding.
The Board did not anticipate pursuit of individual responsibility for leak rate falsifications until September 30th.
The recess between the hearing of technical issues and those of individual responsibility would provide an opportunity for comprehensive review of the information developed in the technical phase and an address of gaps in the record.
